Taraweeh Prayer
Our Regular Events & Programs
During the blessed month of Ramadan, we invite students, parents, and community members to join us for Taraweeh prayers at our school. These nightly prayers provide an opportunity to come together in worship, listen to Qur’an recitations, and deepen our connection with Allah SWT.
Afterschool & Weekend Programs
Weekend Islamic School: A structured program offering Islamic studies, Qur’an memorization, and Arabic lessons for students of all ages.
After-School Tutoring: Additional academic support in core subjects to help students excel.
Hifz (Qur’an Memorization) Program: A dedicated program for students committed to memorizing the Qur’an.

Arabic & Qur’an Lessons
Arabic Language Classes: Develops proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking Arabic, with a focus on understanding the Qur’an.
Qur’an Lessons: Students learn Tajweed (proper pronunciation), Tafsir (interpretation), and memorization techniques.

Ramadan Gatherings & Celebrations
Ramadan is one of the most special times of the year at Ehsan Islamic School. We host:
Community Iftars: Families, staff, and students come together to break their fast and share in the blessings of Ramadan.
Ramadan Spirit Days: Special activities and lessons help students understand the significance of fasting and charity.
Zakat & Charity Drives: Students participate in giving back to the community by preparing care packages for those in need.
Eid al-Fitr Celebration
Eid al-Fitr marks the end of Ramadan and is a joyous occasion at our school! Our Eid celebrations typically include:
Eid Prayer & Gathering: Families and students come together for Eid prayers, followed by a school-wide celebration.
Eid Festival: A fun-filled event with games, food, and cultural activities to celebrate this blessed day.
Gift Exchange & Charity Initiatives: Students participate in giving gifts and donating to those in need, emphasizing the values of generosity and kindness.
Eid al-Adha Celebration
Eid al-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, is commemorated at our school through:
Educational Sessions: Students learn about Prophet Ibrahim’s (AS) story and the significance of sacrifice.
Community Feast: A gathering where students and families share a meal and reflect on the meaning of Eid.
Charity & Service Projects: We encourage students to participate in Qurbani donation initiatives to help those in need.
Seerah Week
A week-long event dedicated to learning about the life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ through storytelling, interactive activities, and competitions that inspire students to embody his noble character.
Qur’an Recitation & Competition
Students showcase their Qur’an memorization and recitation skills in a school-wide competition, fostering a love for the Holy Qur’an.
